We believe the day you think you've learned it all is the day you stop growing. As coaches, we stay students too — constantly refining the program and looking for ways to improve. Boxing is an endless pursuit of knowledge, and so are we.
I see myself less as a coach, more a teacher — someone who can observe, connect, and show a student how to improve. Telling someone what to do is easy. Real change comes from helping them understand why, how and the steps to improve.
Like most people who put on the gloves, Pete never intended to fight — but after falling in love with the culture, the sport, and the work it takes to improve, he naturally stepped through the ropes. Pete came to Bones Boxing as a boxer, and through his passion for learning, mentoring and teaching, he's now coaching full-time — running classes and working alongside Coach Luke to help develop the competition team.
Luke's longest-standing student, Ollie has been with Bones Boxing for almost 15 years and understands the Fundamentals Program better than anyone. A true student of the game, he has a rare talent for communicating with boxers in a way they understand — and can translate straight into practice.
Train With UsA long-time student of the gym, Jack has trained, competed and studied under Luke Bones for almost a decade. In that time he's developed a sharp eye for the basics — understanding that a good stance, footwork, defence and a stiff jab are the foundation of every quality boxer.
